The Samsung FPT5084 50 in Plasma HDTV is capable of creating a display that is a true (1080p) high definition picture. The widescreen TV is Samsung's first venture into the 1080 hd market. Typically, plasmas have had issues displaying dark blacks. However, this television does a pretty decent job. In my opinion, the FP-T5084 is definitely on par or better than many of the plasmas being sold today.

Although the picture quality is pretty good right out of the box, some adjustment was needed to achieve the best possible picture. Luckily, the Samsung FPT5084 provides plenty of picture controls that are user friendly. Once adjusted, the Samsung delivers a bright and colorful picture. The HDTV is able to manage a broad color range equally well.

The Samsung FPT5084 HDTV is sleek and visually pleasing. Samsung has placed the speakers (hidden) to the side of the 50 inch screen, as opposed to the bottom. This makes the panel shorter and wider, which, in turn, makes it easier on the eyes. The sides of the TV also consist of chrome colored strips, which curve towards the outside of the TV and conceal the hidden speakers. The top and bottom frame of the Samsung FPT5084 is thin for a plasma of 50 inches. The bottom panel includes Samsung's logo and blue light. However, this particular feature can be turned off.

The Samsung FTP5084 Plasma is a quality television that is recommended to someone who is looking for an affordable 1080p HD set. Samsung has done a lot of things right, even if it is not perfect. I would like to see a screen that better reduces glare and better processing of non-hd programming, but these are in no way a deal breaker.

Hopefully Samsung will address these issues with their next set. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the performance of the Samsung FPT5084 and believe that it is a great buy.

With the Samsung UN46C7000, action will be jumping off of the screen right in front of you with the 3D technology that is locked inside it. This television will give you a wonderful viewing experience. It also has Internet TV, which will allow you to connect to the web, straight from the television. It has customizable and downloadable widgets. This will allow you to connect with friends, shop online, share pictures and much more. The sleek design is what really caught our mind.

This television comes to you in a forty six inch screen. It is Full HD 1080 p resolution. It is an ultra slim design and includes the tuner, it does not have an external transceiver box. The panel is ultra clear. The advanced technology will allow you to enjoy a crisp image, great shadow detail, natural skin tones and vibrant colors.

It has a touch of color design, which combines color and texture that will complement any room. It also comes with what is called ConnectShare Movie. This will allow you to connect a digital camera or thumb drive without having to hassle with it. This is a user friendly interface that will allow you to access music and videos. You can access the pictures and playlists through the remote control.

For all of you video game lovers, the game mode will come in handy. This will allow you to sharpen the picture, enhance those dark areas and speed up the image processing response. It also enhances the sounds of those video games. Playing Halo 3, Mass Effect, Aliens Vs Predator or any other game on this television will be an awesome gaming experience.

It's an Energy Star television, so expect to save money on electricity. We really do not have any complaints with this television as the features are wonderful, but we have only had it for a couple of months.

The touch of red color really adds an a great enhancement to your TV viewing. The red enhancement really brings out the extra colors and highlights the clarity on this TV set.

High Definition televisions have come a long way in the past few years and with each new series Samsung keeps on improving and making more and more enhancements to make your televisions react faster have brighter and more clear pictures. For awhile, we searched around for the television that would be the right one for us. When we came across the Samsung UN55C7000, we knew that it was going to be the one for us. When we first watched a movie on this television, action just popped off of the screen. This truly does give a good viewing experience.

The design is incredibly slim and it is not as heavy as the other Samsung television we used to have. This is a fifty five inch television that has a lot to offer. It comes to you with vivid colors. It is full HD 1080 p resolution.

Connect Share Movie: With this add-on, you will be able to connect a thumb drive or a digital camera easily. It is easy to use and in no time, you will be able to access your music, videos or pictures straight from the television remote. Who would have ever thought that you would be using a television to access pictures and music?

Speaking in music, the speakers may not be the best out there, but they are pretty good. They are 15 watts x 2. This television also comes with a built in digital tuner, so you will not need any external box.

The widgets on here are customizable and you can get access to Facebook, Blockbuster, Flickr, YouTube, Amazon and many more. Yes, all of this can be done straight from your HDTV. See, technology has really advanced throughout the years.

What exactly is the Touch of Color LCD TV? Is it a gimic, a ground breaking, trend setting innovation or simply a clever marketing campaign? Well it may actually be a little bit of each.

The battle for market share for LCD TV sales has become increasingly challenging over the years. Samsung has tried a new approach to differentiate their LCDs in the battle for the LCD TV market share with it's Touch of Color LCD flat screen TVs.

The Touch of Color LCDs have turned out to be a great success for Samsung as they have been wildly popular among consumers. The Touch of Color design is a unique color process that adds a hint of amber color blended in with the traditional piano black bezel for a smooth, sleek, attractive appearance. The popularity of the TV has proved that consumers are interested in having their TVs be attractive pieces of art, even when turned off. I would expect for other manufacturers to follow suit with their own stylish and unique designs in the upcoming years.

The Touch of Color is a design feature simply for the exterior of the TV. It does not light up or add any other bells or whistles. While the design element is attractive, the TV obviously would not be successful if it did not perform brilliantly when turned on. The Samsungs do not disappoint in this area either.
