New Bachna Ae Haseeno 2008 - Song Details

Image : http://www.flickr.com

After all Ranbir Kapoor is Rishi Kapoor's son. So, of course parallels will be drawn between the two. But Ranbir and his film-makers seem to be obsessed with exploiting the star son's famous legacy. Sanjay Leela Bhansali referenced it in Ranbir's towel scene in Saawariya, which was a throwback to Rishi's towel-dropping scene in Bobby.

And now, Yash Raj is following suit. They have lifted the name of Ranbir's next film Bachna Ae Haseeno from father Rishi Kapoor's hit song (from his 1977 golden jubilee hit Hum Kisise Kum Naheen). The film's theatrical promos are being shown along with Yash Raj's Tashan and guess what - they begin with the old hit song bringing back memories of dad. And when Ranbir appears on screen, looking super dapper in blue jeans, pink shirt and white jacket, it is Rishi all the way!

Bachna Ae Haseeno will release in theaters on 15th August, 2008. But before that the complete video song of "Bachna Ae Haseeno", i.e., the title track from forthcoming Bachna Ae Haseeno movie is supplied here for free watching and downloading. It's not a joke, not fake or fan made video. It's officially released complete video song of Bachna Ae Haseeno, which is picturised on the cool new guy Ranbir Kapoor and three gorgeous girls Minissha Lamba, Bipasha Basu and Deepika Padukone.

The new Bachna Ae Haseeno song is sung by Sumit Kumar & Vishal Dadlani and also the original voice of Kishore Kumar is included. The lyrics is given by Vishal Dadlani for the new song. But the original Composition for "Bachna Ae Haseeno" was by R.D.Burman and original Lyrics was by Majrooh Sultanpuri.

So, don't waist time, watch it and also don't forget to download the full video song for personal collection from our site. Visit our site for movie wallpapers also.

The Pianist (Movie Review)

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Winner of three Academy Awards, and nominated for four others including Best Picture, The Pianist is one of the best films of its decade. Directed by Roman Polanski, The Pianist is a cinematic and artistic masterpiece similar to The Red Violin in that it was mostly overlooked until the Academy offered the necessary publicity to make it a commercial success on video and DVD. Set against the backdrop of an amazingly beautiful soundtrack featuring such classical composers as Chopin and Beethoven, The Pianist ingeniously illustrates the struggle of one man to maintain his dignity and his connection with civilization in the face of a personal hell on earth and some of greatest crimes in human history...

Actor Adrien Brody turns in a brilliant performance as Wladyslaw Szpilman, a piano player of immense genius in 1930s Poland. Szpilman and his family enjoy a life of relative wealth and comfort as part of the cultured and educated European social elite. But that life is turned upside down on September 1, 1939, when the imperial forces of Adolph Hitler's Nazi Germany invade Poland. As a Jew, Szpilman and his family are considered sub-human in the eyes of the German government, and a campaign of terror is quickly instituted against the Jewish population of Warsaw.

Szpilman must live his life the best he can while Warsaw is fenced in with brick walls, and its Jewish citizens are singled out and driven through checkpoints like cattle. At first, the residents of the Warsaw ghetto believe they can wait out the tragedy unfolding before them, but before long, men are assaulting old ladies for meager allotments of food, and citizens are risking death to escape the horrors of the ghetto. Szpilman survives for a while as a restaurant piano player, but he's soon forced into hiding as the ghetto is cleared and the Jews are sent off to concentration camps.

When Szpilman's family is shipped off by train to a death camp, he manages to escape and survive for a time left in the ghetto. But do not take long for the Nazis to find him and force him to work in a German labor camp. Escaping captivity, Szpilman survives in the attic of an abandoned building bombed in the Warsaw ghetto. There he befriends a German officer who shares his love of music and brings food rations on a regular basis. When the war ends, the fate of the two men remain in the air as the evils of the Nazi regime through the iron fist displacedof Soviet expansion...

Based on the true story of Wladyslaw Szpilman, one the most accomplished piano players in all of Europe prior to the advance of the Nazi regime, The Pianist is a masterpiece on the big screen. The wondrous music and its compelling beauty stand in stark contrast to the horrors of war. Brody is more than deserving of his Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role, and Ronald Harwood's screenplay is simply masterful. The precision with which this film tells its story, associated with its intimate depiction of the human condition, makes "The Pianist" one of the greatest films of all time, an absolute must for anyone who wants to see the love for art and cinema ports ...

The Goonies (Movie Review)

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Idea of cinematic genius Steven Spielberg, The Goonies is a thrilling fantasy adventure film for younger - although adults will find enjoyable as well. Foreshadowing the success of the Harry Potter films, The Goonies includes a series of tests and hurdles to overcome for a group of small children must save the day. In many ways it produces films like Indiana Jones for children - in a way that children can imagine or fantasize about being in such asituation.

The film follows the exploits of a neighborhood group of kids who call themselves The Goonies. Upset that they will soon have to part ways because of the forced commercial development of their neighborhood, the kids are enjoying what they believe will be one of their last meetings together.

But while Mikey, Chunk, Mouth, and Data (the nicknames of the Goonies respectively) are exploring Mikey's attic, they find a treasure map hidden in the back of an old picture frame. Apparently the map leads to long-lost treasure of the famous pirate "One-Eyed Willy. Banding together with Mikey's brother Brandon and two neighborhood girls, Andy and Stef places that reveal the enormous wealth of the Pirate Party, and then save their homes from the wrath of the wrecking ball.

But a small problem in them. The treasure map is a starting point below an old abandoned house as a hideout of the notorious Brothers used crime family. Jake Brothersand Francis, coupled with their deformed yet gentle brother and mean Mama Fratelli, are quite an intimidating force. When the Goonies manage to uncover the entrance to the cave that harbors their treasure, Chunk is left behind. The Fratelli's viciously interrogate the boy in an effort to find out what happened to his friends. But it takes a freak accident (spilled water falling down the hole in the fireplace) before they find One-Eyed Willy's secret passage.

With the Fratelli family hot their care, The Goonies need to go through a series of physical obstacles and mental set up centuries ago by pirates off unwanted costly to maintain their generosity. Interspersed in Action is a series of clever and witty one-liners that add to public enjoyment of the film.

Discovering the end, the children of a monstrous treasure One-Eyed Willy. But they can reject the greedy ambitions of the Fratelli family? Able to save theirneighborhood with the newfound treasure? You'll have to watch to find out, and trust me, this movie is a lot of fun...

Each of the stars contributes to the film in his own way. Chunk provides many moments of comic relief with his endless whining, and Data's constant deployment of quirky homemade inventions, although stretching the limits of reality, are a welcome addition to a fantasy adventure film tailored for a young audience.

With the introduction of The Goonies DVD, an entirely new generation can discover the thrill and wonder of this instant cinema classic. Given its wide range of appeal to audiences of all ages and the exciting quest for hidden treasure, The Goonies passes the test as a definite must-see film. If you haven't seen it, or even worse - if your children have been deprived of seeing it - then I highly recommend renting this one...

The Profound Impact of Beatles Music

Image : http://www.flickr.com

There are many cultural touchstones that generations to overcome. A cigarette is a great because it really is a great steak. Good TV does not really do much - it is a very real gap and easy to measure between the generations when it comes to what generations of different people as only the tube. good music is more layered. You're going to see and not many baby boomers, the list would be the Arctic Monkeys on their favorite bands, onlyas you will not, and several generations Y'ers who confess they have all the James Taylor, Smokey Robinson, more than a miracle.

But, regardless of race, color, religion, or generation, it seems unanimous that everyone loves music of the Beatles. From the very first sounds of "Love Me Do" to the last chorus, "Hey, Jew," the Beatles' music crosses generations, cultures and bridges in a way that no other music artist.

My family is usually an example. Are thirtythree years old, a bit of a musician, a liberal, and I live in New York City. Some would call me a hipster (a label I'd reject, but that would just make me much more hipsterish, so whatever). My brother can be a year including a half older than me, is an engineer living from the suburbs with a wife, a kid and also a sit-down lawnmower. Along with a pick-up truck.

Then take my mom. At age sixty five she's still teaching troubled children from the inner city, as properly as mentally disabled children in the city and much more to do outskirts of Nice.

What is the typical thread? We all know that the Beatles' music. The issues that John Lennon and Paul McCartney have universal lyrically, needless to say - regardless of whether they have been treated as a real song "Yesterday" or a request for social responsibility as "Across the Universe", the most rings Beatles music true and clear. There are some things that everyone can take part in almost allBeatles music, and as a result it's not dated at all.

On top of that you'll be able to add that, musically, the Beatles blended ear-candy style bubblegum pop with complex basslines, creative lead guitar and ground-breaking sound mixing. What they did from the studio from, say, Rubber Soul via Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band basically hasn't been replicated. Even the most snobbish classical music or jazz buffs recognize the virtuosity in Beatles music. And that's what sets the Beatles apart.

Toshiba 15LV505 15.6-Inch Widescreen LCD TV (with Built-in DVD Player)

Image : http://www.flickr.com

To this day, I am still very surprised at fact that there is so little all-in-one television sets in the market. In recent years, majority of the households in the US have a TV set and a DVD player. Despite that fact, there is only a handful of TVs with a built-in DVD player in the market. Here is a quick review of one of the best models, the Toshiba 15LV505 15.6-Inch widescreen LCD TV.

Specifications: The Toshiba 15LV505 15.6-Inch widescreen LCD TV can play videos at up to 1366 x 768 in resolution (720p). It also has an 800:1 contrast ratio. Besides playing DVD movies, this model also supports WMA files, MP3, JPEG and DIVX playback. It has a 5ms response time and built-in stereo speakers. It ships with an attached stand, a remote control and a power cable.

Design: This model has a high gloss front panel and stand. The speakers are located below the screen and the DVD player is located on the back of the LCD screen. To load a DVD, you simply slide in the disc from the side. One of the biggest flaws of this model is that it can't be mounted on the wall. It also does not have any connection ports on the front. All the connection ports are located on the back of the TV. It measures at 5.5 inches thick.

Summary: the Toshiba 15LV505 15.6-Inch widescreen LCD TV produces very clear images, especially for a 15" screen. The back-lights, picture format and audio are highly customizable. The surface of the screen is matte, which greatly reduces the amount of glare in a brightly lighted room. On the downside, the stand is not adjustable and cannot be rotated from side to side. I also wish that it came with bigger screens as the 15" display really limits its use. Nevertheless, it is a great little LCD TV to have in small and tight spaces (like your kid's room, kitchen, office or boat).

Review of Dollhouse TV Premier

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Dollhouse premiered on Friday 13, 2009 with episode title, Ghost. The long anticipated TV series stars Eliza Dushku of Buffy fame. More importantly, to many of his fans, Dollhouse is the return of Joss Whedon (beloved creator of Buffy, Angel, and Firefly) to TV and the expansion of Whedon-verse.

Dollhouse is about a clandestine laboratory that can be hired to fulfill various assignments, from fantasy dates to rescue missions. The assignments are performed by programmable humans or "dolls" implanted with the requisite memory and personality tailored to each mission. After the assignment, the doll's memory and personality are then wiped out to begin again with a clean slate for the next one.

What made Whedon's work memorable in the past is the infusion of humor in the middle of a serious crisis. The stark contrast in attitude endears his shows to the audience. The humor does not necessarily come from a goofball character, but it could be something a purportedly serious character would do that made us smirk. Whedon characters of note here are the likes of Jayne from Firefly and Spike from Buffy.

A sci-fi drama, Dollhouse is seemingly a departure from Whedon's formula. If he sticks to the tone of the premier, then Dollhouse could be more along the lines of CSI than it is to Buffy. The show feels that dark and that serious! Now, Whedon has had some success with a darker show before in Buffy's spin-off, Angel. But even that show had bright spots in Cordelia Chase (played by Charisma Carpenter).

In Dollhouse, Whedon introduces five characters that could drive or turn the story. First is Echo, the lead "doll" and main character of the show. She is played by Eliza Dushku. We are likely to follow her assignment from week to week. Somewhere in the series, she'll have to snap out of her programming and somehow regain her real memories. Otherwise, she'll never develop a personality that fans will fall in love with because she'll have a new one every week.

Next is Boyd Langdon played by Harry Lennix and Echo's handler or bodyguard. He is constantly with her and seems to be developing sympathy towards Echo. He's either an ex-cop or an ex-military and has a strong sense of compassion for those in need. It was Langdon who convinced senior authority to continue with the rescue of the little girl after the botched negotiation.

Then there is Adelle Witt played by Olivia Williams and the head of the Dollhouse laboratory. She seems to govern with a firm hand with only the interest of the laboratory in mind. But she is willing to hear out reasons. In Ghost, after the negotiation was botched and the client was shot, she could have pulled out and taken "clean-up" measures to hide the laboratory's involvement. Instead, she approved a backup plan of armed rescue because Langdon pointed out that they still have a mission which is to get back the little girl.

And there is Paul Ballard played by Tahmoh Penikett and an FBI agent assigned to investigate the Dollhouse. We didn't get much more from him other than that he was catching flack from his bosses because he could not find proof that there's an underground "dollhouse" operation that is trafficking humans. But he is a monkey wrench that could blow the whole operation.

Finally, there is Topher Brink played by Fran Kranz and the main programmer for the Dollhouse laboratory. He researches and implements the back story and personality for the doll in each assignment. He gleefully goes about his work, admiring each successful operation as a triumph of genius notwithstanding that the subjects are humans. For Stargate: Atlantis fans, Topher Brink, if developed well, could be the next Dr. Rodney McKay, an arrogant, yet sensitive technocrat who considers himself above the intelligence level of everyone around him. If there are any need for humor, it could come from Topher.

All in all, I'm rating Dollhouse's premier episode a 3 out of 5. The only character that grabbed me so far is Boyd Langdon. He is someone willing to go against the grain to follow his intuition. Everyone else seems to be cut and dry, including Echo. Still, I'm curious enough to watch the next few episodes especially on how Whedon will fit the current make-up, if at all, into his formula where the fans can have their next Spike or Jayne.

Weight Loss Made Easy For Your Teens

Image : http://www.flickr.com

The key to losing weight is simple. Our bodies are consumers of fuel and we either burn up the calories or they go into "storage" on hips, waist, thighs and to other parts of the body. To lose weight, you must have a caloric input that is less than your caloric output: the body must burn more than is taken in. this can happen in one of two ways. By eating less than needed and letting the body burn up the stored calories, or by burning more than is eaten.

Done properly, dieting can work. Extreme diets, often touted even in the mainstream press, may leave a body without sufficient protein or proper nutrients. Anyone who is dieting must take care not to overdo it, and care must be taken in the message we give to the teenager to prevent an overreaction. A doctor or nutritionist must supervise a teen's diet plan.

Plan on something reasonable, like losing a pound a week, or even half a pound weekly. This requires a change of only 250 to 500 calories per day. One can either reduce the caloric intake by that amount or one can exercise the equivalent; ideally, a combination of two is best. For every 500-calorie deficit per day there is approximately a pound loss per week: a 750-calorie deficit daily will lose 1.5 pounds per week.

Now here are some guidelines you can look into to help your teen lose weight:

1. As a parent, you can help by buying appropriate foods and avoiding having a teen's favorite fattening foods in the house. Do you really need potato chips in the house, ever?

2. Your body digests a meal in 30 to 45 minutes, and it takes about that long for the brain to appreciate that you are full. By eating slowly, your brain will naturally release dopamine, which will help you feel satisfied. Encourage your teen to sit down to eat and to eat slowly. Snacks should be limited and should be vegetables and fruits.

3. Remind your teen of the benefits of drinking water. Kids forget that soft drinks may contain a lot of calories. As a reminder, a can of soda with 150 kcal is the same as having 9 teaspoons of sugar! Water is filling and good for you.

4. Realize that some teens eat out of boredom or depression. Having a snack while sitting in front of the television will add weight, from inactivity and caloric increase.

Ultimately a teen need to have a genuine resolve to lose weight, since eating and exercise habits must be changed. An understanding doctor or nutritionist can also be very helpful. But in the end, the desire has to come from the teenager to be successful.

Jesus Of Nazareth (Movie Review)

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Since Thomas Edison's invention of the modern cinema, countless filmmakers have endeavored to produce a moving picture that accurately chronicles the life and times of Jesus of Nazareth. Aside from Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ, which chronicled only a part of the life and crucifixion of Jesus, Franco Zeffirelli's Jesus of Nazareth is the greatest of all. Originally aired as a television mini-series (it's over six hours in length), the film closely adheres to the word-for-word accounts found in the Gospels.

The story begins with Joseph (Yorgo Voyagis) and Mary's (Olivia Hussey) reception of God's angels. Each is told of the child that Mary will bear and what his name will be. The scene where Mary receives her message is an especially powerful piece of cinematic artistry with no dialogue - only a warm light surrounding Mary as she bows in prayer. The film holds true to every utterance in the Gospels, recounting the census, Herod's decree, and the travels of Joseph and Mary.

As Jesus (Robert Powell) develops into adulthood, we witness the beginning of his ministry. He calls on his disciples, teaches through use of parables, and displays many miracles. Zeffirelli makes powerful use of the camera by having his star, Powell, never be caught blinking in any scene. At first, it's barely noticeable, and it takes some time to figure out what is so different. But this absence of the uniformly common trait of blinking creates a divine aura around the character of Jesus. It draws in the audience by creating an emotional sense of peace that lends credibility to the onscreen portrayal of Jesus.

From beginning to end, Jesus of Nazareth offers a plethora of memorable scenes and exchanges which are more attributable to the Gospels and the actual life of Jesus rather than brilliant direction and acting ability. But the subject matter is aptly handled by a great production team and an endless array of first-rate actors and actresses, among them are - Mary Magdalene (Anne Bancroft), the Centurion (Ernest Borgnine), Simon Peter (James Farentino), Balthazar (James Earl Jones), Joseph of Arimathea (James Mason), Nicodemus (Laurence Olivier), Caiaphas (Anthony Quinn), and many others... Overall, the individual performances come together to form a rich tapestry of wisdom and intrigue that will leave its audience with much upon which to reflect and ponder.

If you believe Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah (which this author does), then Jesus of Nazareth serves as a form of meditation and renewal of one's spiritual connection to God. But if you don't view Jesus in this way, no other film will leave you in such awe of the profound influence promulgated by a humble, sandal-clan man from a province on the outskirts of mighty Rome - an influence that has completely dominated the world for almost two thousand years to the present day.

For spiritual, philosophical, and cinematic reasons, Jesus of Nazareth is a definite must-see film for the ages...

TV Review - Survivor 20 Episode 1 - Best Season Yet

Image : http://www.flickr.com

So, I'm sure many of you watched the season premiere of Survivor 20 last night. I managed to watch it this morning and was thrilled to see some of my favorite cast members returning to battle it out against "nature" and against each other in Heroes vs. Villains.

There were some highlights for me this episode that are worth mentioning. First, the hints made at love brewing between the dragon slayer and the black widow. You all know who I'm talking about: Coach and Jerri. They would make the perfect TV couple, wouldn't they? You know you were hoping for it, so maybe they will play it up in episodes to come.

An interesting aspect was how my favorite survivor, Russel, seemed to drift into the background toward the second half of the show. He's either quietly working his magic behind the scenes, or he's found his match and will quickly fall prey to the veteran players.

Finally, I was very glad to see Ms. Sugar get the boot at the end of the episode. I can't stand her at all. She seems like she's 12 years old and constantly whines. She must have been picked for the show just so they would have someone to vote off in the first episode. It was hilarious watching Colby try to distance himself from her. Yikes! Getting turned down by Colby. Not good.

At any rate, this first installment stood up to the promises made by its promos. As one of the many around the world to have watched every Survivor episode since it started with season 1, I can say this should be the best one yet. Let's keep our fingers crossed that Russel will come out of the shadows and truly take his rightful crown as the Best Survivor to ever have played the game.

Sony LCD TV - The Epitome of Customer Satisfaction

Image : http://www.flickr.com

With the advent of LCD television market which continues to grow impressively, it is advisable to collect all available information on the leading models in the market before purchasing a new TV. In the less than 36 inch TV market, Sony has an enviable reputation and has been successful with satisfied customers ranking them number one in national consumer survey. So if one is actively considering buying a less than large screen television (between 20 and 36-inches), Sony LCD TV is one name that is not to be missed.

Sony with a long reputation has a renowned name in the television market as well as in the LCD market. Sony was also the first to venture into the big screen plasma market. When a 60-inch Sony LCD TV was introduced in the market for the first time, it broke the myth that LCD technology could not compete with the larger screen plasma units. With the availability of variety of models of LCD TV monitors in the market it has become increasingly difficult to distinguish all these from their plasma rivals.

The features of Sony LCD TV Bravia line, in 40-inch, 46-inch and 52-inch models need a special mention. The brightness of the picture, the high quality sound without external speakers attached, and above all it's user friendly technology are rated very highly not only by technical experts but also by the proud owners.

The different uses of Monitors other than Television Viewing

As there are varied sizes of the monitors, they can be used for not only television viewing, but also for video game playing, or for connecting to computers. The speed of the light emitting diodes gives more continuity and quality than the old cathode ray tube technology and also matches the quality of plasma.

The light weight Sony LCD can adorn the family room or a bedroom by hanging them on stationary or adjustable brackets on the wall. Sony electronics has been synonymous with reliability which is also reflected in the customer satisfaction survey ratings of its LCD TV range.

Though its not advisable to frequently move any LCD TV, Sony LCD TV with its ease of handling attributable to its relative light weight is portable even when compared to the conventional cathode ray tube TV. Further, due to its wall hanging feature, it gives more flexibility to interior decoration too.

Review - Sweeny Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Once again Tim Burton. Once again a musical. This time, though, with real actors. And among them, once again, Johnny Depp. And it has been already six the collaborations between the Gothic filmmaker and the idiosyncratic performer. They dare now to reinvent the Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler musical of the same title, musical that hit Broadway back in 1978 and has been touring since. Of course, and these days this is not news anymore, the story of the demon barber of Fleet street had been visited many times before, including three minor feature films in the thirties and a recent television movie with Ben Kingsley. On the other hand, being a character so popular in the English folklore that is not surprising.

Fictional or not, Sweeney Todd is an English villain and serial killer that has appeared in English language works since the nineteenth century. He is a barber that cuts his victims' throats with a straight razor. Victims, whose corpses are baked later into meat pies and sold by Mrs. Lovett, his partner in crime.

This is precisely the cornerstone of Burton's film. The barber Benjamin Barker (Johnny Depp) is unjustly sentenced to a life of forced labor in Australia by Judge Turpin (Alan Rickman) who steals from him his wife and daughter. Fifteen years later he escapes and is back in London, where he meets baker Mrs. Lovett (Helena Bonham Carter), seeking revenge as Sweeney Todd.

This is, above all, a movie that moves along through songs rather than dialog. It is through the songs that the story is delivered. Those who love the genre will be in their element. Nevertheless, those who are not friends with songs on screen will have a hard time to let themselves be seduced by a story that develops at a low pace for longer than they would have liked it. After the solid preamble the action stabilizes and Burton beats around the bush while waiting for an excellent but late final bloody climax. Something I cannot argue is the excellence of the setting, the beautifully shot black and blood (loads of) London that Burton's camera goes constantly through, the melancholy of a decadent scenario, the power of the omnipresent tunes, in one word, the style. Yes, this movie is stylish, yes it is.

And then Depp. Truth is, none of the characters he plays can be labeled as usual. Sweeny Todd is just another eccentric odd character to add to his long collection of freak performances. And, to be honest, it is obvious to me that he really enjoys performing those characters. You can like his mannerisms more or less, but you cannot deny that each of his performances drink of his joy for good. Here, he knows how to get his character drunk of the dark humor and melancholy of the film. Bonham Carter, who tends to make me think all the characters she performs are relatives, counts one less collaboration with Burton, despite of being the mother of his son. About Rickman I will say he show the same faces he showed in Perfume: The story of a murderer (2006)

Being overall a decent movie, one leaves the cinema convinced that the three hour long musical might have definitely been more amusing. Those of you Gothics and who were missing the scissors of Edward and do not need much to be content should not miss this one.

Of course, Eli is his lieutenant, and of course with the word "family" roles Claire. You must give her props Samuel. In addition to its ability to manipulate the earth, obviously has a natural gift, convincing GAB.

This episode of "Heroes is moving, because in Ohio to shoot. This is where to find Claire and Gretchen carnival. This little excursion proves to be almost too adventurous for Gretchen. Yourskepticism is surpassed only by Claire's optimism. Claire sees the carnival as a safe place where evolved humans can be themselves, but watch closely. All isn't as it seems, and a disgruntled carnival customer that thinks he can take on the carnie family finds himself dead wrong.

Can I Watch TV channels on my computer? - PC Satellite TV Software Review

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Want to know how you see TV channels on your computer with the software Satellite TV for PC? Not so complicated to do now, than before, and certainly the TV on my PC for a long time. In fact, many large software companies including Microsoft have stated that this is the wave of the future. PC operating systems today are built to accommodate this need.

What are the best ways to watch your TV channelsComputer?

1st Download PC Satellite TV Software

This is currently the best method in my opinion. It offers more than three thousand different channels in many categories. Some of these categories are TV shows, movies, games, live sports, educational, news, adult, geographic, weather, shopping, music, videos and radio stations from different countries.

This is particularly well suited for athletes who want to see their favorite team live. Iable to find and see all the most popular sports games, especially football, soccer and tennis. Another interesting finding is that channels of different countries. So if you do not want to hear a commentary in English, you can usually find a channel that is in your native language.

2nd Use a pay-per-download service

This option is particularly useful for downloading and watching movies. Sites like cinemanow.com movielink.com and allow users to download moviesto pay-per-download. It does not provide access to live TV channels, but.

3rd Use a TV tuner card

Finally, you can purchase a TV tuner card for your computer and into a Super TV. It allows your PC to live TV signals received from the Internet and decipher them for display on the screen. It works much like the PC satellite TV software, but that may be more complicated to configure and includes the management of hardware equipment.

Samsung LCD TV - Samsung's Touch of Color LCD Flat Screen TV Review

Image : http://www.flickr.com

What exactly is the Touch of Color LCD TV? Is it a gimic, a ground breaking, trend setting innovation or simply a clever marketing campaign? Well it may actually be a little bit of each.

The battle for market share for LCD TV sales has become increasingly challenging over the years. Samsung has tried a new approach to differentiate their LCDs in the battle for the LCD TV market share with it's Touch of Color LCD flat screen TVs.

The Touch of Color LCDs have turned out to be a great success for Samsung as they have been wildly popular among consumers. The Touch of Color design is a unique color process that adds a hint of amber color blended in with the traditional piano black bezel for a smooth, sleek, attractive appearance. The popularity of the TV has proved that consumers are interested in having their TVs be attractive pieces of art, even when turned off. I would expect for other manufacturers to follow suit with their own stylish and unique designs in the upcoming years.

The Touch of Color is a design feature simply for the exterior of the TV. It does not light up or add any other bells or whistles. While the design element is attractive, the TV obviously would not be successful if it did not perform brilliantly when turned on. The Samsungs do not disappoint in this area either.

The Samsungs offer a full 1080p picture for the ultimate HD resolution. The crisp, clear images capture the essence of high definition television.

The Samsungs offer a 4ms response time and a 120hz frame rate with their Auto Motion Plus technology that doubles the frame rate from 60hz to 120hz. The Auto Motion Plus technology allows the TV to interpolate between frames for a smooth transition. It handles motion extremely well unlike early LCD models making it great for sports and other shows or movies where there is a lot of fast moving action.

In addition the TVs offer a 50,000:1 contrast ratio which improves upon the already impressive 25:000:1 contrast ratio of the previous year's model. Contrast ratio determines the ability to produce dark blacks and bright whites. A higher contrast ratio will help avoid a washed out image that can be seen in TVs with a lesser contrast ratio.

This year's model also includes InfoLink, which provides access to free RSS news, sports, stock and weather feeds through a built-in Ethernet port.

While the Touch of Color in and of itself is not a ground breaking innovation, it is certainly a design feature that has seemed to be a hit with consumers and will more then likely start a trend towards having TVs seen as pieces of art while on as well as turned off. The attractive design along with innovative features and smooth, crisp HD screen images make the Samsung Touch of Color LCD flat screens one of the best TVs for your money out on the market today.

Choosing the Best Television Set

Image : http://www.flickr.com

There are many factors that play a role in a persons decision when it comes to buying a television set. For instance a person who is looking for a practical television set who is on a budget would typically buy one with a screen less than 40 inches, however many people would consider a smaller set to be less enjoyable and focus more on the viewing experience as well as practicality, hence they will often decide to purchase a TV with a screen 50 inches or greater.

Another factor which affects a persons decision is picture quality. A person who is'nt concerned with picture quality would go for the cheapest option, i.e a non high definition set whereas a person who is concerned with picture quality would purchase a high definition set which would normally cost more but worth paying for the extra quality.

When making a decision which TV set to buy you must ask yourself some questions. Firstly is the TV set just for your benefit or are there other people in the household who have to be taken into consideration? Secondly What is your budget? can you realistically afford the desired TV? If not you may have to consider a cheaper version or maybe even the same model second hand as it is possible to buy high quality used nearly new sets online for a greatly reduced cost with no problems whatsoever. I personally had to make a buying decision of this nature quite recently.

I had always wanted a state of the art high definition set for my household as I was fed up with modest 30inch screen and came to realise that the size of the the screen was limiting the viewing experience, so I decided to buy a new set. I decided to ignore the constraints of my over zealous frugality and splash out on a widescreen high definition set, a decision I don't regret in the least.

The set I decided to purchase was the sharp aquos 65se94u. with a 65 inch screen and full hd 10p resolution this TV set will dominate any living area giving a genuine home cinema experience. The picture quality is superb and second to none and with a 4ms response time a fluid viewing experience is guaranteed. It has an aquos net feature for custom web content through the ethernet jack. This is one set certainly worth checking out.

Using Plasma Television Reviews To Get The Best Deal

Image : http://www.flickr.com

A plasma television may be one of the best, most enjoyable purchases you ever make, but before you rush out to purchase a new TV, there are a few steps that you are going to want to take first. Plasma television reviews, for instance, are a great way of learning about the different options that you have and helping you to make the best choice for you and your needs.

What Plasma Television Reviews Are

Plasma television reviews are basically reviews that customers who have already purchased the different televisions have made on them, so that you can get an idea of each model before actually purchasing it yourself. This ensures that you will make a better buy and that you are going to be satisfied in the end.

The Panasonic TH-42PD50U is one of the best reviewed plasma televisions, one that almost every reviewer cites as being the best value and which gets especially good reviews for its accurate color, picture detail and features. It is an excellent budget pick for those who do not need the best possible picture quality and it also outperforms many of the higher rated TVs in displaying standard definition TV signals.

The Panasonic TH-50PH9UK is another that comes with the best plasma television review, and it is recognized for having the most cinematic black levels of any other mainstream plasma display. As well, since it is a monitor and not a true television, it has no speakers, table stand or wall mount, and offers minimal connections. It also has no tuners and because of this is considered as being best for those who will use separate speakers and get all of their TV from cable or satellite.

Then there is also the Pioneer Elite PRO-FHDI, which features incredible high definition and picture quality, and is appropriate for cable and satellite subscribers who want to use separate speakers who don't mind paying a bit extra for a stand or wall-mount hardware.

Plasma television reviews can absolutely help you make a better and more informed decision on which television to buy, but you should remember not to make it the only determining factor. You also have to put your own two cents in here and ensure that you are choosing a plasma television that is going to fit your particular wants and needs. By taking your time and learning about your options you will be able to ensure a smart purchase, high quality and value for your money.

Rear Projection Television Reviews - Which Are The Best RP HDTV Review Sites?

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Which are the best sites for rear projection television reviews online? You decide to buy a rear projection television otherwise known as rptv. If you are like me and I am sure many other consumers I would not have a clue as to what I should be considering in order to make a choice out of all the models out there. What does this long phrase mean anyway and what are the differences that exist among all the models out there and how do they affect what I finally watch?

Thankfully, there is the internet and all those smart technically inclined people and kind customers that write what we know as reviews. I do this all the time whenever I am stumped as to what to consider.

Here are five good sites for rear projection tv reviews:

http://www.rptvguide.com is dedicated to rptvs and will provide you with simple yet complete technical information and knowledge the lay person needs to know about rear projection televisions that has been carefully selected from the top reviews sites; that includes consumer and "techie" reviews. So the work has been done for you and you don't have to go to a dozen sites. It has a sister site http://www.flatscreenhdtvguide.com which reviews plasma and lcd HDTV sets.

Everyone knows Amazon. Amazon allows individual sellers to sell pre-owned items too. On its electronics section you can find a lot of information on rptvs among other models of televisions. You can buy new or used. More important you can rate an item easily without going through a pile of reviews by simply looking at the number of stars against it to determine its popularity, the more stars an items has the more popular it is. You can then go ahead and read on only the items that score the most stars and make your decision shorter. Each star score represents a vote by a consumer which is always accompanied by written comments on the model in question.
